Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation before departure

Standard bookings can be cancelled at no charge if you notify us before the scheduled departure — by WhatsApp (+506 6431 9126) or email (mayonetourism@gmail.com). We will confirm the cancellation in writing in the same thread.

Same-day no-shows, or guests who are not at the meeting point without notice, may be charged for the reserved space. Park permits and boat seats cannot always be reused.

Changing the date

You can ask to move a confirmed tour to another day. We will do that when boats, guides and park space are available. High-season Corcovado days fill first; the earlier you write, the more options we have.

Weather, swell and park closures

If we cancel because of unsafe sea conditions, heavy rain that closes a trail, or a park or reserve closure, you choose: a new date, a different tour of similar value, or a refund of the amount you paid us for that tour.

If only part of the day changes (for example a different landing site inside the same park), we will explain the substitute plan before you board.

How to tell us

WhatsApp is the fastest. Include the guest name, date and tour. If you booked a coupon or a private group, mention that too so we apply the same terms.
